What I’m all about
I’m Sophie, born a Brit, wannabe Kiwi who loves adventuring outdoors and ending the day with a Corona in hand.
We landed in NZ in 2009 on our OE. It stole our hearts, and we were lucky enough to be able to stay. We like to think we’ve embraced Kiwi living by running, biking or kayaking our way through its crazy landscape, and naturally, we’ve increased our usage of the words ‘heaps’ and ‘sweet as’.
With a degree in Leisure and Sports Management (where did that even get me!?), and previous roles in account management, communications and web, I ended up in digital marketing and have never looked back. Here’s a bit of guff about me…
I’m a wife to Dave, Mum to Florence and Teddy, and we live in Christchurch. We spend our days tripping to the mountains for family hikes, mountain biking or trail running, with a bit of renovating on the side. In our downtime, we’ll be watching Friends, standup comedy, or some sort of inspirational sports movie (you gotta love that genre). I have 14 house plants that I work hard on keeping alive and I make a mean lasagne.
