I’m Sophie, born a Brit, wannabe Kiwi who loves adventuring outdoors and ending the day with a Corona in hand.
My husband and I landed in NZ in 2009 on our OE and now we’re lucky enough to call this beautiful country, home. We like to think we’ve embraced Kiwi living by running, biking or kayaking our way through NZ’s great outdoors and of course increasing our usage of the words ‘heaps’ and ‘sweet as’.
With a degree in Leisure and Sports Management, and previous roles in project management, communications and web, I ended up in digital marketing. Here’s a bit of stuff about me…
I’m a wife to Dave, Mum to Florence and Teddy, and we live in Christchurch. We spend our time day tripping to the mountains for family hikes, or training for multisport events, with a bit of renovating on the side. In our downtime we’ll be watching our go to shows, Friends or Big Bang Theory (I hope that gives you an idea of my sense of humour, but don’t hold it against me). I have 14 house plants that I work hard on keeping alive and my favourite dinner is my Mum’s roast lamb.
